These terms govern your use of Money Map ("the service"). By signing in and using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who operates Money Map
Money Map is operated by an individual (a personal, non-commercial project), not a company. You can get in touch at jautyw@gmail.com.
2. What the service is
Money Map is a tool for visualising and planning your personal finances — mapping income and spending, exploring cashback and switching options, and tracking savings. It is an informational and organisational tool only.
3. Not financial advice
Money Map does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Nothing in the service is a recommendation to buy, sell, switch, or hold any financial product. You are responsible for your own financial decisions and should seek advice from a qualified, regulated adviser where appropriate.
4. Accuracy of rates and offers
Cashback rates, bank switch incentives, savings rates, and product details shown in Money Map are maintained by the operator and may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. Always verify the current terms directly with the relevant provider before acting. We give no warranty that any figure shown is accurate or currently available.
5. Your account and acceptable use
You sign in with a Google account. You agree to use the service lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt it, access other users' data, scrape it at scale, or misuse it. We may suspend or remove access where use breaches these terms.
6. Connecting your bank (open banking)
If you choose to connect a bank account, this is done through TrueLayer, a regulated open banking provider, and access is read-only. You can disconnect access at any time from your bank's app or settings. Money Map never sees your banking credentials.
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator accepts no liability for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service — including any financial decisions you make.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms are versioned. If they change materially, you may be asked to review and accept the updated version before continuing to use the service.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
